Island Cove joins Brigada Eskwela

(Cavite, Philippines-June 16, 2014) Island Cove supported Binakayan National High School for the 6th consecutive year during the Department of Education's annual Brigada Eskwela, or National Schools Maintenance Week. Brigada Eskwela is a tradition that happens every May where students, teachers, parents, and locals help public schools prepare for the opening of classes in June.

Binakayan National High School has been featured on television because it lacked classrooms and would hold classes under the Cavite Expressway. This year, Island Cove helped the school by putting up louvers and doors on the four newly built classrooms. Island Cove also intends to support the interiors of the new classrooms through floors and proper lighting.

Island Cove regularly maintains their grounds and lends equipment that Binakayan National High School needs during school activities.
